Stillman’s Jeff Henderson wins gold in Rio Olympics

Once a jumper from a small, Division II HBCU in Alabama, Jeff Henderson is now the long jump champion of the world.

The former Stillman College long jumper secured the gold medal in Rio on Saturday with a jump of 27 feet, 6 inches, besting South African Greg Rutherford by one centimeter to win.
