Norfolk State expecting Greg Hankerson to lead team to next level

Greg Hankerson was preparing for his first camp at Norfolk State this time next year. When NSU starts camp next week, the Florida Atlantic transfer will have full command of the offense, and the full confidence of his coach.

“Greg makes us go,” NSU head coach Latrell Scott told HBCU Gameday. “Our football team will be as good as Greg Hankerson is.”

Scott said he thinks Hankerson is the best quarterback in the MEAC. Hard for us to argue, as we ranked him no. 1 in the conference as well.

We asked the Lauderdale Lakes, Florida native about his epic 77-yard touchdown run against North Carolina Central last season. Check out the video below.

I think he is the best QB is the MEAC as well. NSU's offensive game plans always looks well put together. I am not sure if the Spartans have enough offensive line depth and talent to win the MEAC, but NSU will definitely be competitive.
