Livingstone may be a tiny, private school in little Salisbury, NC but one of its student-athletes just pulled off a big accomplishment. Quanera Hayes won the indoor US Track and Field National title in the 400m on Saturday, running a time of 51.09, beating Ashley Spencer and Natasha Hastings, who rounded out the top three.

// “It was amazing, I just kept saying ‘God thank you,” Hayes told NBC Sports. “Thank you for giving me the strength. I’ve gotta keep going, I gotta keep pushing.”

Check out her victory here.

Hayes won the NCAA Division II title at the 400 meters in the outdoor season last year.
