Livingstone may be a tiny, private school in little Salisbury, NC but one of its student-athletes just pulled off a big accomplishment. Quanera Hayes won the indoor US Track and Field National title in the 400m on Saturday, running a time of 51.09, beating Ashley Spencer and Natasha Hastings, who rounded out the top three.

Hayes won the NCAA Division II title at the 400 meters in the outdoor season last year.
